In parallel with the evolution of cloud computing, which allows complex and large-scale computations to be performed, an extraordinary growth of the Internet of Things has invaded several intelligent applications in different fields. Thus, we must process massive data in order to ensure a more efficient exploitation. Data gathered from various objects connected in the cloud computing and big data context must be integrated to enhance the quality of the knowledge discovery process and to support data-driven innovation in a wide range of field. Data enrichment is becoming a key strategic focus for scientific research at the present time.

We invite the submission of work-in-progress research addressing various aspects of Data Enrichment In Smart Applications. The workshop welcomes submissions of technical, experimental, methodological papers, application papers, and papers on experience reports in real-life application settings addressing (but not limited to) the following topics:

Data enrichment tools and techniques

  • Semantic Web of Things
  • Linked Open Data
  • Enrich semantic approach
  • Annotation strategies and data linking approaches.
